Since I mentioned Motorola, I might as well go down the Nokia route. I am not sure what I think about the campaign here. The idea is good, but I am doubtful of the execution. Judge for yourself.

Burton Snobile goes mobile marketing with Shred Anything campaign
When launching in China Burton used a mobile marketing campaign to suit their budget. The idea was that anything consumers video was converted into a place to snowboard. User created a video of their choice and uploaded it to the Snoble site. Within a couple of seconds it the video was returned with a soundtrack from a famous band, snow falls and lands on objects in your movie while snowboarders are passing by. The result was a cool and unique video consumers shared and by doing so created a viral effect. A web and mobile supported campaign drew consumers to the Snobile wap site.

JC Dexcaux does a great interactive mobile marketing campaign for Honda.
As I have mentioned before, the car industry looks like an industry who have adopted mobile marketing to be part of the marketing plan. Honda let users play with their car on a billboard through texting a dedicated short code. Cool execution and fun to play with.

Mobile as an integrate part of an extensive Dark Knight - Viral Marketing Campaign.
The thing I have seen with mobile phones used in marketing is that they have become and extensive tool to communicate with the target audience. In the Dark Knight viral the marketers used the phone for taking pictures, leaving clues and dialling a phone number. This campaign really took it to the next level and offered the fans an experience of a lifetime.

Combine mobile text with a billboard and you get the snowing billboard
This is creative. Tyrvann Winter Park outside Oslo wanted to illustrate to the people of Oslo that with the help of snow machines their slopes were full of snow, when it was dry in Oslo. So TBWA created a campaign were billboards were connected to a remote control at the top of the slopes mountain. When it snowed at Tryvann a text message was sent to the billboards causing them to snow as well, reminding bypasers that they could hit the snowy slopes.
Have a look.
